Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally referred to as Andra day is an American R&B singer-songwriter. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among her many awards she's earned. In addition, she was nominated for an Academy Award. Andra Days is a strong singer who can also write beautifully. Not only is she a specialist in the throwback genre of R&B Her musical origins are in gospel jazz and blues. The debut of her album Cheers to the fall (2015) she made it in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts as well as securing a few Grammy nods. In 2017, her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack was also recognized by an Academy Award. Andra was born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. Growing up living in San Diego and surrounding areas her first performance was in the church and was enrolled into at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She switched her attention from modern R&B and pop when she graduated however, she was eventually attracted back to the jazz and soul singers that she listened to when she was a kid. Kai Millard Morris caught her show and offered some of Day's music to Stevie Wonder. In turn, the Motown legend connected Day with music industry experienced Adrian Gurvitz. Day, allied with Gurvitz's Buskin label and Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record company, grew a popularity on YouTube, and was signed to Warner Bros. in 2012. Day then released her first song Forever Mine. DJs began to play it on the radio. After signing in 2015 to Warner Bros. Records she started working on her debut record Cheers To The Fall featuring Adrian Gurvitz. The track "Rise Up" became a global anthem within social justice movements. Day earned two Grammy nominations for the album, including Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album about the legendary jazz singer's life was released in 2019. The following year she appeared as a character in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), a biopic of Holiday's career. Andi Mathichak was born in America. She first appeared in the film Halloween in the role of Allyson and was later seen in numerous television shows like Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black), 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods and Orange is the New Black. Andi Mattichak was born on the 3rd of May, 1994 in Framingham Massachusetts.
