Felicity Jones is a British actress who is most well-known because of her role as Jane Hawking in the critically acclaimed movie The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since when she was 12 years old and has appeared in numerous plays TV shows and films. She started her career with the television film The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch (a television series) she was Ethel Hallow. The sequel The Weirdsisters College was also made. The first movie she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many movies. She gained popularity for her acting in movies like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything' which earned the actress the Oscar award for the very first time. Jones received high praise from the public and critics as she played Hawking's ex-wife as she appeared in The Theory of Everything, a Stephen Hawking biopic. The film was followed by Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. Jones won the British Artist of year award in 2016 from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles. The award was given for her extraordinary talent and contribution towards cinema.
