Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actor. In 1983, after her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames 1982 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was well-known as a member of the group. Sheedy was awarded with the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than twenty years. In the early 80s, she began her career in film with the crime thriller Bad Boys. She was very well-received in this film. The film of Rick Rosenthal also featured Sean Penn as well as Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. After her debut film, she appeared in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as among most memorable films of high school cinema. Although the budget was just $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed the mark of $50 million. At the same time she started appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. The show premiered in April of 1980. show started airing. The show was designed for young people. Also, she appeared on various TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero in which Sheedy plays a small cameo. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her outstanding performances, among them an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
